The legendary Royal Grove is so much more to Lincoln than just a nightclub: it has been the epicenter of live music and entertainment in in the city since 1933.
From the late 60s and into the 2000s, Nebraska Rock’n’Roll Hall of Famer Tommy Jelsma and his family built the Royal Grove into one of the Midwest’s most renowned venues, hosting music and comedy icons such as Chuck Berry, Motorhead, Jerry Seinfeld, Weird Al Yankovic, Pat Benatar, Nickelback, Imagine Dragons, Ween, The Misfits, Henry Rollins, Blue Oyster Cult, Deftones, System of a Down, Sebastian Bach, Three Dog Night, Tesla, Ratt, Larry The Cable Guy, Puddle of Mudd, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Insane Clown Posse, Gwar, and so many more – the list could go on and on.
Re-opened in 2018 by members of the Mardock family – and run by Warner Music recording artist Eli Mardock – the Royal Grove remains a local, family-owned & operated venue.
As ever, The Royal Grove is committed to cultivating Lincoln’s cultural growth by supporting the local music scene and bringing top-tier national touring acts to Lincoln, NE.
